Inleiding
The design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of ventilation systems is a specialised field. To ensure good indoor air quality, the system must function correctly and be maintained regularly. Ventilatiekeur is a quality standard for the maintenance and management of ventilation systems in homes and is applied exclusively by Ventilatiekeur-accredited organisations.
The conditions, requirements and methods of determination contribute to a healthy indoor environment and support a standardised approach to ventilation maintenance. The guideline focuses on the inspection, maintenance, cleaning, measurement and assessment of domestic ventilation systems. A standardised working method ensures that the work carried out and the performance of the entire ventilation system are made transparent and verifiable.
The updated guideline forms the basis of Ventilatiekeur and focuses on the commissioning of domestic ventilation systems following maintenance. By checking, measuring and recording the system’s operation and performance, insight is gained into the quality of the maintenance and the functioning of the installation. Ventilatiekeur thus provides a practical basis for quality assurance in domestic ventilation.
